Real Data Systems Ireland, a key subsidiary of the Real Data Systems Global Group, is a leading provider of IoT, smart building technology, smart sensor installs, maintenance management software, and Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS). As part of our commitment to expanding our market presence and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Development Executive.
About You
We are searching for a self-driven, results-oriented individual with a strong background in sales to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the Irish market. Experience in construction software sales is a plus, but not mandatory. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of the following qualities:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners
- A passion for technology and a strong understanding of the benefits of smart building solutions
- Eagerness to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
- Proficiency in creating compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Experience with CRM software a plus
- Knowledge of the AEC/O (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owner) industries (a bonus)
- Project management background (a bonus)
The Opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Promote, sell, and manage sales and implementation of our suite of solutions including Bluebeam Software, Spacewell as a solution, dTwin as a solution, and Touchplan software.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the Irish market, leveraging our global expertise and network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of our solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales initiatives, including conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent Real Data Systems at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Travel to the United Kingdom as required for client meetings, presentations, and project implementations.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record in sales, with a strong background in B2B sales preferred.
- Experience in selling construction software will be considered a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) industries and a project management background will be a bonus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel within Ireland and occasionally to the United Kingdom, with a valid driver’s license.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be either an Irish citizen or already reside within the county.
